DevOps Lead

Transmit Security is building the next generation of secure, seamless digital identity experiences. Our platform enables global enterprises - including leading banks, fintechs, retailers, and insurers - to protect millions of users across channels and devices.We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to guide our DevOps Core team in designing, scaling, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our mission-critical SaaS products. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll influence architecture, drive operational excellence, and lead a talented team shaping the backbone of our platform.

About the Role

As a DevOps TL at Transmit Security, you will lead a team of DevOps and software engineers responsible for building resilient, scalable infrastructure across multiple environments. You’ll work closely with R&D teams, own critical parts of the roadmap, and push for modernization, automation, and secure-by-design practices throughout the company.We’re looking for a strong technical leader with deep knowledge in cloud, Kubernetes, automation, and production operations - someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves enabling engineering teams to move faster, safer, and smarter.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps and software engineers.
• Own the design, delivery, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure across production and staging environments.
• Be deeply involved in roadmap planning - from architecture to deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with other DevOps teams to unify processes, tools, and standards.
• Drive best practices in CI/CD, GitOps, observability, security, and automation.
• Perform 20-30% hands-on work, focusing on high-impact areas and solving complex infrastructure challenges.
• Modernize DevOps practices to improve delivery velocity, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain the tooling, pipelines, and standards used across engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years in a DevOps team leadership or managerial role.
• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in production environments.
• 3+ years of managing cloud infrastructure as code (GCP or AWS).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies: GitOps, Helm, CI/CD patterns, deployment strategies, and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or OpenTofu.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and WAF technologies.
• Advantage: Experience with Cloudflare, Data Pipelines / Apache Beam, GitHub, or ArgoCD.
