Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for a finance leader to own the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, audits, compliance, and banking relationships. As a key member of the executive team, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership to guide strategic financial decisions and ensure healthy operational performance.

We’re seeking a professional with strong foundations and hands-on experience, who is growing into their executive journey - whether they have held one VP/C-level role or are ready to take their first meaningful step into senior executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting, reporting, and monthly/annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing financial insights.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Present financial reports and business insights to the Board of Directors.
• Oversee procurement, payroll, and collections to ensure smooth operations.
• Support strategic decisions through business-focused financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
• Proven experience in financial leadership roles.
• Experience aligned with the early stages of an executive career - whether having completed one VP/C-level role or preparing for a first step into a VP/CFO position.
• Background in a local organization - preferably from internet, mobile, banking, credit companies, advertising or similar fast-paced industries.
• Strong background in accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors.
• Broad business understanding and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Leadership experience managing finance-related teams and processes.
