Wireless Communication System Engineer | Ashdod | IAI

Join the Communications Directorate at the Modiin site of ELTA and take part in developing advanced wireless communication systems.

The position includes:

• Leading the development process of digital modems across diverse and challenging wireless communication projects

• Driving system characterization, architecture definition, engineering requirements and authoring design and test documents

• Managing the engineering aspects of the system while working with multiple internal engineering teams and external subcontractors including algorithms, software, hardware, firmware, mechanics and integration

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in communications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of digital communications and modems

• Basic knowledge of RF systems

• Proven experience in digital modem development

• Hands on experience with test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer and VSA

• Experience in defining, specifying and writing detailed technical design documents for firmware, software and hardware teams

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multitasking environment

• Knowledge and experience in satellite communications is an advantage

• Knowledge and experience in cellular communications is an advantage
