Controller

We are looking for a Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the finance function and play a key part in shaping our financial operations. We’re looking for someone who brings deep technical accounting expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage and oversee accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, Payroll, and Inventory Accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and Budget vs. Actual analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with auditors and lead the audit process to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and support the accounting team to ensure high standards of performance and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and other financial requirements.

Requirements:

• CPA with an internship in one of the Big 4; e-commerce and inventory experience – a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior accounting role with proven expertise in preparing and consolidating financial reports under US GAAP.
• Strong command of financial systems; experience with NetSuite – a significant advantage.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and analytically strong professional.
• Results-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Independent yet collaborative, with a strong sense of commitment.
• Passionate about innovation and process improvement.
• High level of English (both written and spoken).
