Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of cloud-based solutions, leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies, project management methodologies. The Technical Project Manager will ensure the successful execution of complex AWS cloud projects, maintaining the highest levels of security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of AWS cloud projects for clients.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure effective project management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Report regularly to senior management and stakeholders on project performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cloud architects, security teams, and compliance officers.
• Conduct regular client briefings and ensure transparency on project milestones and challenges.
• Manage the auditing process and provide documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and implement AWS cloud solutions that meet the specific needs of defense clients.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
• Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Ensure all projects meet the highest quality and security standards, with minimal disruption to critical operations.
• Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• 4 years of project management experience, preferably in defense.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and their application in secure environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS services.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, SmartSheet, Salesforce).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Certifications:

• AWS certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications.
