Head of Technology Excellence / Chief Technology Integration Officer

We are looking for a Head of Technology Excellence to join our executive leadership team. This is a high-impact, multidisciplinary role designed for a technical authority who can bridge the gap between diverse engineering domains and large-scale business growth.

As our "In-house Tech Authority," you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy—from leading deep-tech due diligence on potential acquisitions to orchestrating the integration of complex systems across our subsidiaries.

Why this role is unique: You won’t just manage; you will architect. You will translate siloed technologies—optics, electronics, mechanical systems, and software—into unified, mission-ready platforms for the defense and government sectors.

What you’ll do: Lead M&A Technical Due Diligence: Evaluate IP portfolios, TRLs, and system architectures of target companies.

Drive Post-Acquisition Integration: Design frameworks to combine heterogeneous technologies into scalable, multi-domain solutions.

Establish a Center of Competence: Serve as the internal authority and mentor for subsidiary engineering teams, setting the gold standard for technical excellence.

Strategic Roadmap: Partner with the CEO, COO, and CSO to align long-term technology goals with market needs.

Who you are:

Education: MSc/PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, or Computer Engineering.

Experience: 10+ years in Defense, Aerospace, or Deep-Tech environments.

Hands-on Expert: Deep knowledge in sensor fusion, embedded systems, optics, and systems engineering.

Strategic Thinker: Proven track record in evaluating 3rd party technologies and leading complex integrations.

Leader: The ability to command respect from both R&D engineers and Board-level executives.
