Product Manager

Brenntag Israel is looking for a hands-on Product Manager, who will join our purchasing team.

Being an industry leading distributor and service provider for chemicals, we offer best service, extensive market know-how, formulation expertise and the highest quality chemicals.

Job Description & Required Business Acumen

• Inventory/Stock Planning, Purchasing, planning and sourcing commodities and specialty chemicals and taking the ownership of product management in terms of effective stock management, stock turns, cost analysis and pricing strategy.
• Strategically buying the chemical raw material / products from a selected and negotiated supplier portfolio, make a single sourcing for customers’ requirements.
• Setting a recommend product pricing range/band for account managers.
• Making market and competition analyses concerning relevant products.
• Experience in products development, sourcing and collaboration with sales teams.
• Keeping required records of all data and maintaining trustworthy feedback for sales teams.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Industrial and Management Engineer/ Practical Engineer
• 3-6 years of trackable experience in inventory planning, product purchasing & sourcing in industries such as Chemicals and raw materials.
• Fluency in English and excellent numeric reinterpretation skill set.
• Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in with excellent communication and process management skills.
• Leverage understanding of business, operating and financial environments and customer needs to deliver results.

• לקיחת אחריות מלאה על ניהול המוצר מבחינת ניהול מלאי אפקטיבי, סבבי מלאי, ניתוח עלויות ואסטרטגיית תמחור.
• רכישה אסטרטגית של חומרי גלם/מוצרים כימיים מספקים נבחרים.
• ביצוע רכש ממקורות יחודיים בהתאם לדרישות הלקוחות.
• ידע בניתוח חומרי גלם כימיים – יתרון.
• קביעת טווח תמחור מומלצת למנהלי הלקוחות.
• ביצוע ניתוחי שוק ותחרות עבור מוצרים רלוונטיים.
• ניסיון בפיתוח מוצר, מיקור ושיתוף פעולה עם צוותי המכירות.
• שמירה על רישום נתונים נדרש ומתן משוב אמין לצוותי המכירות.
  
  

כישורים נדרשים

• מהנדס/ת או הנדסאי/ת תעשייה וניהול.
• 3–6 שנות ניסיון מוכח בתכנון מלאי, רכש ואיתור מוצרים בתעשיות כגון כימיקלים וחומרי גלם.
• שליטה באנגלית ומיומנויות גבוהות בניתוח מספרי.
• יכולת לשמור על מערכות יחסים ארוכות טווח לצד כישורי תקשורת וניהול תהליכים מצוינים.
• יכולת להבין סביבות עסקיות, תפעוליות ופיננסיות וצרכי לקוחות לצורך השגת תוצאות.
