Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations and reporting processes. This role is central to ensuring accurate, compliant, and insightful financial management across our Israeli and U.S. entities.

The Controller will manage the company’s accounting cycle, financial statements, and reporting to management and the Board, while supporting budgeting, audits, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a business-oriented mindset and thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing MedTech environment.

Responsibilities and Authorities

• Collaborate with the CFO in preparation of the company to NASDAQ IPO in terms of full US GAAP accounting, SOX and SEC compliance.
• Lead the monthly closure process and consolidation.
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual consolidated financial statements and cash flows (US GAAP).
• Collaborate with the company`s external auditors on quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Partner with consultants and 3rd party entities, monitor and enforce contracts, accounting and tax policies.
• Ensure detailed accounting and tax documentation is complied and maintained in support of relevant legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Perform overall financial accounting support, including financial reporting, cash management, financial analysis, and other aspects of accounting management (billing, operations, collection, tax etc.).
• Play a leadership role in building processes and improving automation, implementation, and development of company information systems (ERP/CRM).
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to comply with legislation and establish best practices.
• Partner and provide financial support to other functions.
• Facilitate and drive accounting initiatives as well as a variety of financial analyses, special projects, and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
• Authorized to approve and release payments, purchase orders, and journal entries within the company’s defined delegation of authority matrix.
• Authorized to provide official financial statements, reports, and disclosures to auditors, tax authorities, and management.
• Authorized to define and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes in alignment with company policies and CFO approval.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must Have

• CPA license (Israel/US).
• Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a must; Managerial experience is a significant advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a similar Controller role.
• Experience in global or high-tech/MedTech companies.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements.
• Proven experience in preparing US GAAP financial statements under SEC rules.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills and understanding
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Manage bookkeepers.
