We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our IT department and lead a strategic HR transformation initiative.
This role focuses on the implementation of new Core HR and Recruitment platforms across the organization.
You will manage the transition from legacy systems to a modern Core HR ecosystem, ensuring that integrations, data migration, and system configurations are delivered on time, within scope, and in full compliance with architectural standards, data governance, and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary link between HRIS, IT and external vendors/partners, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Define scope and objectives, plan deliverables, manage risks, and track progress.
- Provide clear project governance and transparent status reporting to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation, issue logs, and dashboards to track decisions and next steps.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project moving forward.
- Coordinate testing, change management and training with HR to ensure adoption and user satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven success in leading or supporting HR platform integration projects.
- Process Oriented: Strong ability to map out business workflows and translate them into technical configurations.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated ability to manage a system in a "business as usual" state, driving continuous improvement and stability after the initial project go-live.
- Data Governance: Experience establishing data governance protocols and reporting frameworks
- Transformation Experience: Proven experience leading the implementation of a major Core HR system (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- HR Knowledge: Deep understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle (Hire-to-Retire)
- Tooling: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
- Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with modern ATS (e.g., SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse) and Core HR platforms.
