Software Engineer III, Datastream

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Java, Python or Go.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, Cloud, and databases.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Work on design challenges in large-scale distributed systems built on GCP.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Build the service from the ground up, focusing on quality and security.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the source of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
