Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role:

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Frontend Developer who takes full ownership of their work, from technical design through implementation and into real-world usage. This is a hands-on role for individuals who bring strong frontend engineering fundamentals, deep web security knowledge, and a high standard for quality and reliability.

You’ll join a team that values autonomy, deep thinking, and the ability to architect and deliver complex frontend solutions end-to-end. We expect engineers to care about how their applications behave in production, not just whether they build them, and to help create secure, performant web applications that stand up to real-world demands.

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and ship complex frontend features for our admin portal and customer-facing applications
• Architect scalable frontend systems using modern patterns such as micro-frontends and module federation
• Own your code through its lifecycle, from specification and architecture to deployment, monitoring, and evolution
• Implement and champion web security best practices (CSP, CORS, HSTS, XSS prevention)
• Investigate and resolve issues that arise in staging or production, and help build tools that make this easier
• Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to define technical solutions that deliver real user impact
• Continuously improve system architecture, performance, and development practices
• Collaborate with peers through code reviews, design discussions, and shared ownership of technical quality

What you’ll need:

• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of web security principles and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Experience implementing security measures such as authentication flows, secure headers, and CORS policies
• Proven architectural and system design skills for complex web applications
• Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and frontend infrastructure
• Strong CSS skills (SCSS, CSS Modules, or similar methodologies)
• An independent, persistent, and ownership-driven mindset with a “get things done” attitude
• Experience designing and maintaining complex frontend systems at scale
• A strong sense of responsibility and care for what you build, not just delivering code, but building applications that perform reliably in production

Bonus Points:

• Experience with micro-frontend architectures and module federation
• Background in identity, authentication, or fraud prevention systems
• Experience with design systems and component library development
• Experience with Storybook and comprehensive component documentation
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, etc.)
• Knowledge of Node.js and backend concepts
• Prior involvement in small teams, startups, or fast-paced environments
• Contributions to open-source projects or engineering communities
