SW Team lead - Cloud

The retail landscape is evolving rapidly, with increasing demand for digital advertising and retail media solutions within stores. Following a successful capital raise, Cust2Mate is expanding its capabilities to empower retailers to monetize in-store data and shopper engagement through advanced retail media technology.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Team Lead to lead the development and scaling of Cust2Mate's cloud-based infrastructure and services. In this role, you will oversee cloud architecture, serverless solutions, and distributed systems that power our Smart Cart platform. You will manage a team of talented engineers while remaining hands-on with modern cloud technologies, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure and microservices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, product, and operations teams to support business needs.
• Drive innovation by adopting new cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure system reliability, monitoring, and high availability for critical services.
• Oversee deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code implementations.
• Contribute to architectural design and cloud cost optimization strategies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (Mamram / 8200 experience a plus).
• 12+ years of proven experience as a Developer.
  
  

• Hands-on experience leading development teams or projects, with at least one position as a team lead.
• Understanding of cloud/serverless architectures and distributed systems - Azure is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience with AI integration is a plus.
• Experience with IoT systems is a plus.
• Experience building real-time, large-scale products with high customer impact is a plus.
