Assistant Controller

A global high-tech company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join its finance team in a dynamic, international environment.

Role responsibilities:

• Monthly and quarterly closing processes

• Preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS

• Journal entries and accounting analyses

• Budget vs. actual analysis and periodic financial reporting

• Ongoing work with global finance teams in Sweden, the US, and the UK

• Support external audits and global financial projects

• Assist in budget and forecast preparation

Mandatory requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Big 4 background is mandatory

• Must meet one of the following criteria:

◦ Completed an internship at a Big 4 firm and continued working there for at least one additional year, with experience working with high-tech, biotech, or global public companies

◦ Completed an internship at a Big 4 firm and moved to a global or publicly traded high-tech company, with up to two years of experience post-internship

• Fluent English spoken and written, with daily work in a global environment

• Excellent Excel skills

• Experience working with an ERP system such as Priority, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite

• Willingness to work in a demanding, fast-paced global environment, including non-standard working hours
