Role Description

As a Technology Instructor at MOONA, you will lead hands-on learning experiences for youth in the fields of engineering, technology, and innovation.

The role combines technical knowledge, facilitation skills, and a strong sense of educational impact.

You will work with small groups of students, guiding them through practical challenges, projects, and problem-solving processes, while exposing them to real-world technological thinking and future career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on STEM and technology workshops and courses
• Facilitate learning processes in engineering, innovation, and creative problem-solving
• Guide students through projects, challenges, and experiments
• Adapt content to different learning levels and group dynamics
• Collaborate with MOONA’s professional and educational team
• Serve as a role model for curiosity, critical thinking, and teamwork

• Prior teaching or instructional experience is an advantage (not required)

Qualifications

Required

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technological field
• (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software, or similar)
• Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to engage, guide, and inspire youth in a learning environment
• Availability to work in the Western Galilee

Preferred

• Previous experience in teaching, training, or facilitation
• Experience working with youth or in educational frameworks
• Hands-on experience with projects, labs, or technical systems
• Familiarity with STEM, innovation, or project-based learning approaches
