Assistant Controller

A leading Telecommunications company in the Central District is looking for an Assistant Controller.

An opportunity for an interesting and challenging role in a large and stable company, including end-to-end responsibility for reporting processes and ongoing reporting to a public parent company.

Job Description:

• End-to-end responsibility for reporting processes and various items in the financial statements.
• Ongoing reporting to the public parent company and responsibility for quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Performing analytical reviews, including analysis of complex transactions.
• Leading processes and ongoing collaboration with internal and external interfaces.
• Leading projects for process optimization.
• Professional oversight of the bookkeeping department.
• Integration into a large finance team, reporting to the Controller.

Requirements:

• CPA (Big 4 background) – Mandatory!
• Experience from a firm auditing large companies.
• Experience in auditing public companies.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Affinity for information systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proactive, highly motivated, strong work ethic, and willingness to work hard.
