About the Role

Join our R&D team building PowerRadar, an enterprise energy management platform that helps commercial and industrial facilities optimize their energy consumption. You'll work on real-time data processing, multi-tenant architecture, and microservices alongside legacy system modernization.

What You'll Work On

Microservices Architecture

• Build cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot and AWS
• Design scalable REST APIs and real-time communication systems
• Work with event-driven architecture and messaging patterns

Complex Data Systems

• Handle time-series energy data at scale with MySQL and Redis
• Optimize queries across multi-schema databases
• Build data aggregation pipelines processing millions of measurements daily

Cloud-Native Development

• Deploy services on AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and more)
• Work with containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Implement serverless patterns and distributed systems

Innovation & AI

• Drive technical innovation and introduce new solutions
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity
• Explore and implement AI-powered features

Real Impact

• Your code helps facilities reduce energy consumption and costs
• Monitor thousands of commercial buildings globally
• Solve interesting problems in IoT and industrial monitoring

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Java backend development
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot experience
• Solid database (MySQL) and ORM knowledge
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Passion for innovation and using AI tools

Nice to Have:

• Energy/utility domain knowledge
• Multi-tenant SaaS platform experience
• Legacy system modernization projects
• Python (we have a Python-based AI service too)
