Role Description

We are seeking a motivated, open-minded, and diligent Lab Technician to join our innovative Chemistry R&D team. You will support textile-chemistry research by conducting experiments, performing analytical tests, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring proper laboratory functioning, maintaining records, and preparing technical reports. This role offers strong opportunities for professional growth and internal promotion within the R&D department.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dyeing experiments and support the development of new chemical processes and formulations for textiles.
• Perform chemical, physical, and analytical tests related to textile performance and properties.
• Assist in optimizing processes and identifying solutions to technical problems.
• Maintain organized and thorough laboratory documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings when needed.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure the proper, safe, and efficient functioning of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance and adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with the Machinery R&D team in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in textile chemistry or related laboratories (advantageous).
• Experience operating laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Diligent, detail-oriented, open-minded, and eager to learn.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze scientific articles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment.
