Senior React Native Developer for a high-growth EdTech startup.
This role involves:
Architecting a mobile application for a scaling educational platform, leading frontend development for thousands of daily users.
Build high-performance mobile applications using React Native. Lead technical architecture and make critical decisions on component design, state management, and navigation patterns.
Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver smooth user experiences. Ensure flawless performance across all devices with fluid animations, fast load times, and efficient memory usage.
Participate in selecting AI development tools (Copilot, Claude). Establish engineering best practices and mentor the team. Take full ownership of features from concept to implementation, including backend APIs and third-party integrations.
The ideal candidate will bring:
7+ years of frontend development experience with deep expertise in React and React Native.
Proficiency with Zustand or similar state management solutions for complex applications.
Solid experience in API integration, including REST APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern development workflows.
Deep understanding of mobile UX patterns, platform differences, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to bridge the gap between iOS and Android, creating seamless cross-platform experiences.
Experience with unit testing, real-time features, and AI/ML integration. Background in EdTech, gaming, or media-rich applications is a plus.
