Description
ppltx is a dynamic B2C gaming startup in Tel Aviv. As a Data Platform Engineer, you'll build and maintain the data infrastructure, AI agents, and developer tools that power our data organization.
You'll design modern data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, implement AI-powered automation, and create self-service capabilities for the data team. You'll have significant ownership over platform architecture and direct impact on systems that process data at scale.
We're looking for someone who proactively identifies automation opportunities, stays current with emerging technologies, and thinks platform-first
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
● Experience with GCP (Preferred) or AWS and a good grasp of cloud architecture principles
● 2+ years of experience as platform/infra/devops engineer or a similar role
● Proficient in Python and SQL
● Solid understanding of ML and ML engineering concepts and platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker)
● Experience developing agents or AI-powered automation (ADK, Langchain, CrewAI, or custom frameworks)
What else?
● An early adopter who lives in release notes and isn't afraid of preview features - if it's in beta, you've probably already tried it, started vibe-coding before it became a buzzword
● Automation obsessed - any manual job that became a git action is a small win
● Thinks in platforms, not point solutions - always asks "how do I make this self-service?"
