About The Engineering Team

The Claroty Engineering (R&D) Department is a group of talented engineers with specialties including BE, FE, DevOps, QA, and automation, who come from a variety of backgrounds and organizations with strong experience and skills in software development and cybersecurity.

Our engineers use the most state-of-the-art technologies available to build our products – from Kafka to K8s, Spark and the latest React/Angular, AWS lambdas & Argo workflows, and many others – ensuring the fastest and highest-quality delivery to our customers.

We are solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the industry today – anything from OS level in-depth activity, networking traffic analysis, big-data analysis, multi-tenancy architecture and limited resources design and implementation to cope with high-performance requirements, and sophisticated UX concepts.

Responsibilities

As a Tech Lead Frontend Engineer, you will play a central role in both hands-on development and technical leadership.

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of frontend solutions for our enterprise-grade OT remote access products
• Own frontend architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security
• Drive end-to-end feature ownership, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
• Serve as the technical authority for Angular-related topics, setting standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
• Mentor and guide frontend engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous knowledge sharing
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality solutions
• Balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, remaining deeply involved in critical code paths
• Identify technical risks, propose improvements, and lead initiatives to continuously enhance frontend quality and developer experience
  
  

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade web applications, with at least several years in Angular
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Senior Engineer with leadership responsibilities, or equivalent)
• Deep expertise in Angular, its architecture, lifecycle, and performance optimization techniques
• Strong command of TypeScript and modern JavaScript concepts
• Experience with frontend state management solutions (e.g., Redux, NgRx, MobX, or similar)
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component design, reusability, and testability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions and influence design decisions
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and engineering excellence
  
  

• Experience with backend development, preferably in Python
• Familiarity with REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed systems
• Background in cybersecurity, networking, or Linux-based systems
