Backend Lead

We’re a profitable company developing a platform to monitor advertisements. We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer who genuinely loves to code, knows how to take ownership, and can work both independently and as part of a strong team. This role is for someone who leads by example, solves real problems responsibly, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Take ownership over features and systems end to end
• Solve complex problems in a thoughtful, responsible way
• Work closely with other engineers, product, and stakeholders
• Lead technically when needed and contribute to architectural decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with Node.js in production environments
• Strong experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and AWS – mandatory
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership and accountability
• Passion for coding and building real products

Nice to have

• Experience with React is a big advantage
• Experience leading features, mentoring, or driving technical initiatives
• Ad tech experience

• On-site role only
• Offices located at Azrieli Holon
• A hands-on team that values ownership, collaboration, and execution
