We are seeking an experienced and visionary Academy Manager to lead one of our Cyber Security Academies.
This is a full relocation position and requires an individual with strong leadership, operational, and academic oversight skills to ensure our academy continues to deliver world-class cyber security training programs.
The Academy Manager will be responsible for the overall management, strategy, and success of the academy. You will lead staff, oversee curriculum and delivery, and work closely with HQ to align training with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Academic Leadership
- Set the vision, goals, and strategy for the academy in alignment with global company objectives.
- Ensure academic excellence by maintaining high training standards, updating curricula, and integrating industry best practices.
- Develop and implement long-term plans for growth, innovation, and continuous improvement of the academy.
Team & Operations Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the academy staff including trainers, administrative personnel, and the Assistant Academy Manager.
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and classroom management.
- Establish clear KPIs for staff performance and student outcomes.
Program Oversight
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of all training programs.
- Ensure that content remains current with evolving cyber security trends, certifications, and employer demands.
- Partner with HQ curriculum developers and subject-matter experts to introduce new programs and courses.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, student feedback, and performance tracking.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Regularly audit and review training materials, delivery, and classroom conduct.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the academy and senior leadership (Training Director, Operations Manager, and HQ).
- Provide timely and comprehensive reports on academy performance, student progress, and trainer effectiveness.
- Foster partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and industry bodies to strengthen the academy’s reputation and reach.
Student Experience & Outcomes
- Ensure a positive and professional learning environment that supports student success.
- Oversee student enrollment, retention, and graduation processes.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employability and career pathways for graduates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in training/education management, ideally in cyber security, IT, or technical academies.
- Proven leadership experience in managing diverse teams across multiple functions.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security concepts, industry certifications, and training methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A valid foreign passport is required for European countries.
- Experience with international/relocation assignments is a strong advantage.
- English fluency required; additional languages are a plus.
