Assistant Accountant for a Public and Global Company – Shoham

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Israeli Securities Regulations for a publicly traded company on the TASE.
• Oversee trial balance closing by the accounting department and compile working papers and monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Prepare monthly management reports, including budget vs. actual, sales reports, and profit/cost center analysis.
• Prepare annual tax reports.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), graduate of one of the Big 5 firms – mandatory.
• Experience outside an accounting firm – advantage, preferably in a public company; experience in project-based industries (familiarity with IFRS 15 revenue recognition for projects) – advantage.
• Proven experience in preparing and consolidating annual and quarterly financial statements under IFRS.
• Experience with leading ERP systems (Priority) – advantage.
• High-level English – speaking, reading, and writing.
