Data Engineer

A HealthTech startup developing a SaaS AI-powered product that brings intelligence capabilities to healthcare, supporting medical processes with AI components designed to enhance performance and user experience.

The position is based in central Israel near the train line, with a hybrid work model allowing up to three work-from-home days per week.

The role-

• Reports to the Team Lead, responsible for architecture, design, and end-to-end task ownership
• Requires comprehensive understanding of Data Engineering processes
• Processes and transforms data from multiple external sources
• Builds and maintains an internal serving platform
• Works at large scale with complex medical data
• Integrates with diverse internal and external interfaces
• Work is central to the company’s core business operations
• Technology stack includes Python, SQL, ETL, AWS, serverless architectures, CI/CD, and Kubernetes

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience developing in Python, Java, and Scala
• Experience working with Cloud environments
• Experience with SQL development and building ETL processes and Data Pipelines
