Your Role And Responsibilities
The IBM Research Lab in Israel is looking for exceptional students to join our innovative team and contribute to cutting-edge research. You will help advance state-of-the-art technologies focused on LLM-based agentic workflows, including the development of code-based (CodeAct) agents to deliver high-quality, high-performance solutions.
In This Position You Will
- Develop code (primarily in Python) for agentic AI and CodeAct agents.
- Conduct benchmarking and evaluation of AI workflows.
- Gain hands-on experience with leading agentic AI platforms and tools.
- Collaborate in a global team and apply best practices for effective teamwork.
We’re looking for fast learners with strong programming skills. Experience with LLMs and generative AI is a plus.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- MSc student or BSc student (starting 5th semesters) in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Hands-on coding experience with strong Python programming skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Good command of English.
- Legal authorization to work in Israel
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- PhD students
- Experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks and benchmarking.
