Job Requirements: Senior DevOps and DevSecOps Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate DevOps Specialist, with deep knowledge in the DevSecOps domain, to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructures, securing development processes (CI/CD), and enhancing the Observability of our systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud principles, containers, and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Cloud & Infrastructure

AWS (Amazon Web Services):

Proven experience working with key AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda).

Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architectures.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Kubernetes (K8s):

Hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS, or On-Prem).

Deep understanding of K8s concepts (Pods, Services, Deployments, StatefulSets).

Docker:

Extensive experience in building optimal, hardened, and efficient Docker images.

2. Automation and CI/CD

CI/CD Pipeline Design:

Responsible for designing and establishing end-to-end CI/CD processes.

Implementing Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST) within the Pipeline.

Azure DevOps: (Mandatory Requirement)

Proven experience working with Azure DevOps Pipelines and Boards for CI/CD implementation and project management.

GitHub Actions / Jenkins / GitLab CI:

Experience writing and maintaining scripts and Workflows in one or more of these tools (advantageous experience alongside Azure DevOps).

3. DevSecOps and Security

Security by Design:

Responsible for implementing best practices for securing code, infrastructure, and containers throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Vulnerability Scanning:

Experience with vulnerability scanning tools for code (SAST), dependencies (SCA), and Docker images.

Access Control:

Defining and managing IAM and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) policies in AWS and K8s.

Secret Management:

Experience with secure secret management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).

4. Monitoring and Observability

Monitoring & Alerting:

Setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Tracing & Logging:

Proven experience with Log Management tools (like ELK Stack or Splunk) and Distributed Tracing tools (such as OpenTelemetry or Jaeger/Zipkin).

Mandatory Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Senior SysAdmin.

Container Tools: Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Cloud: Proven experience with AWS.

Automation: Extensive experience writing scripts (Bash / Python) and using IaC (Terraform).

CI/CD Platform: Proven, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.

Language: High level of Hebrew and English proficiency.

Advantageous Requirements

DevSecOps: Proven experience implementing DevSecOps tools and methodologies.

Code Review: Understanding of Code Review processes and improving code quality.

Networking: Basic knowledge of Networking (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).

Databases: Knowledge of working with relational (RDS) and NoSQL databases.
