The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about finding new solutions for complex challenges and has strong experience in making things work.

Main responsibilities

• Design, Develop, and implement mechanical designs
• Provide support to production and ensure compliance with deadlines, quality and cost targets
• Collaborate with outsourced validation and manufacturing partners to ensure timely supply of systems and components on spec
• Evaluate hardware and software during deployment to ensure smooth functioning 

Requirements

• Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design Engineering
• 3-5 years proven experience with mechanical design and development
• Experienced designing mechanisms, systems and electronic packaging
• Proficiency with SolidWorks
• Familiarity with diverse production methods – CNC, 3D printing, laser cutting etc
• Programming knowledge – C, Python – must
• Teamwork, creativity, problem-solving skills, and analytic thinking
• Well organized, detail oriented and thorough
