We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with a minimum of five years of practice in the high-tech sector, either within a leading law firm or as in-house counsel in a technology company. The role involves providing practical, business-oriented legal guidance across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters while supporting internal teams in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

The position includes responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, partnership, data-processing, and licensing arrangements. It also requires advising on issues relating to privacy, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, product legal risk, and corporate governance matters as needed. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, the ability to work independently while partnering closely with cross-functional teams, and sound judgment in balancing legal risk with strategic business considerations.

This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates clearly with both legal and non-legal stakeholders, and is comfortable supporting global operations. Experience with SaaS offerings, cloud technologies, and B2B contract structures is particularly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, partner and licensing contracts
• Provide clear, practical legal advice on commercial, corporate, privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory matters
• Support product, sales, security, and operational teams by identifying legal risks and offering business-focused solutions
• Assist with corporate governance matters and maintain strong internal compliance practices
• Help shape internal policies, processes, and playbooks to support scalable legal operations
  
  

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of legal experience in the high-tech sector, gained at a leading law firm or in-house at a technology company
• Proven expertise in negotiating commercial technology agreements, with a strong grasp of SaaS and cloud-based business models
• Solid understanding of privacy and data protection frameworks, including GDPR and similar regulations
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to balance legal considerations with business priorities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with legal and non-legal stakeholders
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
