IT & SecOps Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an IT & SecOps Specialist to join our IT & Security team.
In this role, you will act as the operational engine behind PointFive’s global IT infrastructure-owning logistics, employee experience, SaaS operations, and security operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on builder who loves optimizing workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and gaining deep experience in SecOps, Compliance, and global IT scaling.

• SecOps & GRC Experience: 1-2 years in Security Operations, with specific experience assisting in Customer Security Questionnaires, Vendor Risk Reviews, or Compliance Audits (SOC2/ISO).

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT Operations or System Administration within a global high-tech startup environment.

• OS Expertise: Deep technical proficiency in managing macOS and Linux environments. You must be comfortable troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying software across these platforms.

• MDM Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience managing fleets via JumpCloud. You should be capable of building policies, running commands, and managing device groups.

• EDR Knowledge: Experience managing endpoint security using CrowdStrike (or similar enterprise EDR solutions), including agent deployment and health monitoring.

• Identity Management: Strong operational experience with Okta and Google Workspace, specifically regarding user lifecycle management and troubleshooting access issues.

• Communication: Fluent English (Written and Verbal) is mandatory. You will be supporting US employees and vendors daily.
  
  

• Global Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the comprehensive hardware lifecycle for employees in Israel and the US. This includes procurement, global shipping/retrieval logistics, and maintaining a 100% accurate asset register that tracks user assignment and security status at all times.

• IT Support Focal Point: Serve as the primary Tier 1 and Tier 2 point of contact for all hardware and software inquiries, delivering professional, efficient, and high-quality technical resolution for the global team.

• Onboarding Operations: You will manage the pre-configuration flows so that new hires receive equipment that is instantly ready for productivity, with Wi-Fi, MFA, and core applications (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace) already deployed.

• SaaS Lifecycle Administration: Manage the full user lifecycle across our core technology stack (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Salesforce, and HiBob). This includes complex provisioning, enforcing role-based access controls, and executing timely de-provisioning to maintain license hygiene and security.

• Customer Security Assurance: Accelerate business cycles by assisting the sales team with customer security questionnaires and technical assessments during the sales process.

• Internal App Security Reviews: Evaluate new SaaS tool requests from internal employees. You will conduct security risk assessments on new applications to ensure they meet company standards before approval and implementation.

• Endpoint Defense Operations: actively monitor the health and compliance of our fleet via CrowdStrike (EDR) and JumpCloud (MDM). You will act as the first line of defense, identifying and remediating unpatched or non-compliant endpoints.

4. Infrastructure Scaling

• Network & Site Projects: As the company grows, you will assist in deploying and managing physical network infrastructure (Switches, Access Points, Firewalls) and meeting room multimedia solutions to support our expanding footprint.

• Experience with HiBob (HRIS) IT workflows and integrations.

• Basic scripting capabilities (Bash/Zsh) for device automation.

• Experience with Low-Code automations (e.g., Make.com, n8n).

• Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with US business hours.

• Military background in a technical unit.

• Proactive Owner: You demonstrate high accountability. You identify operational gaps—whether in inventory, licensing, or processes—and take the initiative to resolve them without needing micromanagement.

• Methodical & Organized: You rely on structured processes and documentation. You ensure that every asset, license, and access request is logged accurately.
