Information Security Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Information Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Security team. The role is hands-on and dynamic, combining system administration, network, and security responsibilities. You will be involved in implementing, managing, and maintaining security tools, as well as supporting large-scale projects and security assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and maintain security tools such as EDR, Firewall (FW), IPS, DLP, WAF.
• Deploy new systems and upgrade existing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security and system issues.
• Enforce security policies and standards.
• Conduct surveys and penetration tests.
• Collaborate across teams and support projects that require both security and infrastructure expertise.
• Be available for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in information security – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and architecture – mandatory.
• Solid experience with system administration – mandatory.
• Experience managing and maintaining security products (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5) – advantage.
• Familiarity with WAF systems – advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems – advantage.
• Familiarity with web applications – advantage.
• Certifications such as CCSE, MCSE, or relevant security courses – advantage.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) – advantage.
• Experience in managing cybersecurity projects – advantage.
