As a Platform Architect you will be responsible for designing, building, and governing the technical architecture of large-scale platforms that support product development, integration, scalability, and reliability across the organization. The role requires deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, system design, and cross-team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Define the end-to-end architecture for cloud and on-prem platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across engineering teams.
- Lead platform modernization initiatives, including Microservices, Containerization, Kubernetes, SaaS, User management and DB’s.
- Collaborate with product, security, data, and infrastructure teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and services to improve performance and developer efficiency.
- Conduct architecture reviews, perform system modeling, and guide engineering teams through implementation.
- Monitor platform health and drive continuous optimization for cost, performance, and reliability.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, Microservices, APIs, SaaS, and distributed systems.
- Experience with DevOps tooling (Terraform, Helm, GitOps, CI/CD).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, system-thinking, and leadership skills.
