About Duve:
We’re Duve, a guest experience platform used by hotels in 60+ countries to welcome guests and simplify operations. We help hotels offer more personal, on-brand stays that fit their guests and their own identity, in a way that actually scales.
We connect to the core hotel systems they already use (PMS, payments, booking, digital keys, and more) so hotel teams can focus on guests instead of juggling tools.
About this Role:
We’re looking for a Product Designer who can take complex problems with real constraints and turn them into simple, clean solutions that our engineers can actually build and ship.
You’ll join a product team that ships fast, learns from real usage, and cares about both the pixels and the business. We’re still a small product design team, so there's a real opportunity to influence how we work as you get to know the product and the team.
You’ll report directly to our VP Design and work day to day as the designer in a cross-functional squad with product and dev.
If you’re the kind of teammate people enjoy working with, like tackling complex product problems, use AI as a core part of how you work, and want to own things from idea to shipped feature, we’d love to talk.
You’re a great fit if you are:
- People enjoy working with you. You’re curious, straightforward, and you make discussions easier, not heavier.
- You care about good UI - hierarchy, spacing, typography, and states. You may not be a Dribbble star, but you know quality when you see it and aim for it in your work.
- You’re collaborative and open-minded: you listen, ask questions, and you’re happy to adjust your ideas or change direction when new information or a better idea comes up.
- You care about reality more than theories - before locking in a direction or pushing for big changes, you look at how things work today (usage, feedback, existing flows, constraints, and history) so your designs fit into reality instead of fighting it.
- You’re comfortable with messy, technical products and imperfect briefs, as long as you can ask questions and bring structure.
- You’re organized, in your thinking and in your work: your Figma files, docs, and notes are clear enough that someone else can pick them up and move.
- We don’t expect you to know every corner of the product on day one - what matters is your curiosity, your approach, and how you grow into the complexity over time.
Responsibilities:
- Learn our existing product and ecosystem in depth so your designs plug into what already works, strengthen it, and add clear value for hotels and guests.
- Design product experiences that reach thousands of hoteliers and millions of guests
- Turn product goals and constraints into flows, wireframes, polished UI, and interactive prototypes - taking the time to really understand the problem, clarify goals, constraints, and tradeoffs before jumping into solutions
- Use AI as a natural part of your daily workflow - to explore options, stress-test flows and edge cases, clean up or generate copy, and generally move faster without cutting corners
- Start lean: define the smallest valuable version, ship it, and improve based on real data and feedback
- Run lightweight research when needed - quick user calls, simple usability tests, or small surveys - and pull in the team when it needs to go deeper.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to scope, refine, and ship features
- Help maintain and evolve our design system so new work stays consistent and fast
- Keep your files, flows, and docs organized so others can understand and build on them
Qualifications:
- Around 6 years designing digital products, including solid experience on in-house product teams (B2B SaaS is a strong plus). Your experience is mainly in building and iterating on live products, not one-off client projects or marketing websites.
- If you have a bit less experience but a strong portfolio of real product work and an AI-native way of working, we’d still like to hear from you.
- A portfolio with real product work that shows clear flows, solid interaction design, and good visual taste with attention to detail.
- Proven experience using AI as part of your design workflow (for example in research, ideation, content, prototyping, or QA), with a couple of concrete examples you can walk us through.
- Experience working in a lean, iterative way: starting small, testing with users, and improving based on what you learn.
- Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written, and the ability to explain your thinking to people who aren’t designers.
- You actively look for ways to improve how you and the team work, and you experiment with new tools and workflows (including AI) on your own initiative when they can make the work faster or better.
- Comfort collaborating with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
