Job description:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and operationally driven Logistics Manager to join our Operations team.

This role is essential for ensuring smooth field operations by managing all equipment, inventory, fleet logistics, procurement processes, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all logistics activities, including inventory management, equipment distribution to field teams, and maintaining appropriate spare stock levels.
• Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and maintenance of all operational equipment using ERP (NetSuite) and additional inventory systems.
• Oversee the intake of new equipment, verify asset integrity, and coordinate documentation in both the ERP system and internal tracking sheets.
• Lead the process for handling faulty equipment: receiving defect reports, replacing equipment for field teams, and coordinating repairs with the production department.
• Manage procurement workflows including submitting purchase requests, coordinating with vendors, reviewing quotes, and tracking incoming orders.
• Work closely with warehouse staff to prepare equipment kits, verify their readiness, and ensure smooth dispatch to field teams.
• Maintain full operational readiness by conducting periodic inventory counts and forecasting equipment needs based on project requirements.
• Manage fleet logistics, including downloading licenses and insurance documents, tracking maintenance schedules, updating service/test records in systems, and assigning driver identification codes.
• Collaborate daily with field team leaders to understand operational gaps, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs, calibration services, and procurement of new operational tools.
• Maintain high operational standards, organization, and accuracy across all logistics processes.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or inventory management.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite is an advantage).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with field equipment or hardware management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams (field teams, warehouse, procurement, production, vendors).
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently address logistical challenges.
• Ability to perform physical inventory counts and manage warehouse-related workflows.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and reliability.
• Good proficiency in English - spoken and written.
• Logistics or operations certifications -an advantage.
