About the Role

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll calculations, attendance systems, and employee inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and related reports.

Responsibilities

• Salary calculation - perform all calculations required to prepare pay slips, including deductions, working hours, overtime, grants, premiums, garnishments, surprise calls
• Attendance system management - collect attendance data, receive and process sick leave certificates, vacation, closing and transfer hours to payroll software
• Employee response - provide answers to employee questions regarding their salary and assist in solving salary-related problems
• Handling employees of collective/personal agreements, providing monthly/semi-annual bonuses
• Report preparation - prepare monthly/quarterly reports, compensation report. Building an annual budget report, Equal Pay Law and more
• Handling 102/126 forms
• Funds and handling the employer interface. Opening new funds, monitoring the feed-back, working with the Hilnet system. Working with a pension operator
• New employee intake - opening employees in payroll systems
• Employee departure - Closing employees in systems, preparing letters, 161 forms. Handling retirees
• Handling National Insurance forms: National Insurance, Reserve, Unemployment, Old Age and Code
• Payroll closing - transferring data to the Masab system

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company

• Ability to analyze data
• Priority for mastering payroll software, Scenario attendance
• Mastering the Scenario attendance system
• Mastering the Regular Payroll system

Preferred Skills

• Experience with payroll software and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
