Embedded Software Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring – Embedded Software Engineer

A leading tech team in the IoT, security, and digital health space is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with around 4 years of hands-on experience to join our embedded development group.

In this role, you’ll work across the full embedded stack — from microcontrollers and real-time systems to embedded Linux and wireless communication technologies — helping build connected devices used globally.

What You’ll Do

• Develop embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded Linux (Yocto)

• Build real-time solutions on FreeRTOS, Bare Metal, and multithreaded systems

• Integrate drivers for sensors, storage, modems, and security modules

• Work with connectivity protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, TCP/IP

• Work with Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, and cellular modules

• Support OTA updates, secure communication, and device provisioning

• Participate in board bring-up, debugging, and preparation for production

• Collaborate closely with HW, Cloud, Mobile, QA, and Product teams

Requirements

• ~4 years of experience in embedded software development

• Strong skills in C and modern C++ (C++14 or higher)

• Experience with embedded Linux, Yocto, and RTOS environments

• Knowledge of networking protocols and wireless communication

• Experience with Python scripting, Git, and basic database tools (e.g., MySQL)

• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded security, Secure Boot, cryptography

• Familiarity with OTA frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Agile and device certification processes
