Junior Manual QA Engineer

We're Agora, an early-stage Fintech startup based in TLV on a mission to revolutionize the way Real Estate firms and investors manage their capital. Our Investment Management software help companies raise and preserve more capital by automating their back-office operations, increasing their investors' satisfaction, and providing them with advanced tools for better marketing efforts.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Agora, you will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches, managing and maintaining a clear stability image of the system, and building automated tests to handle scale. You’ll need to have great technical skills, prior experience testing business products, and a comprehensive understanding of QA workflow and technology in general.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test plans for new features.
• Conduct hands-on manual testing of web-based products.
• Efficiently execute test cases across all areas of our products (function, integration, performance, etc.)
• Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs
• Drive metrics and KPIs - We love Data
• Maintain daily interaction with product managers and developers to understand system requirements.

• Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
• Familiarize with the system and become our “Go to guy”
• Deliver a high-quality product that our clients will enjoy using

• A minimum of 1-2 years experience working as a QA engineer - Must
• Experience in running manual tests on web applications
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems (Big Plus)
• You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
• User Experience oriented, with a true passion for quality
• Love of process, documentation, and methodology
• Organized, independent, and eager to learn

It will be great if you have:

• Experience using web performance tools.
• Knowledge of writing code (JavaScript / Python)
