Cloud & DevOps Team Lead

For our growing global Cloud practice, Deloitte is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect & DevOps team lead!

In partnership with other leaders in the firm, you will focus on delivering cloud solutions using AWS, GCP, and the other major cloud vendors. As a key member of the architecture group, you will help ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on public cloud.

As a DevOps and Cloud Team Lead you will lead a group of talented top tier engineers, you will be part of Deloitte’s Cloud practice, working with Israeli and global clients, helping clients build their next gen Cloud solutions.

• Design and implement cloud strategies and policies that meet client’s specific needs.
• Lead deep architectural discussions internally and with clients on cloud-based solutions, infrastructure, systems, and applications.
• Design architecture and overview implementation of complex cloud-based architectures and solutions.
• Keep up on the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and act as a technical knowledge ambassador for the team.
• Act as a technical liaison between clients and delivery teams.
• Developing continuous integration pipelines, Cloud infrastructure, process automation and more

Requirements:

• Vast of experience as DevOps team/ tech lead- A must
• Good understanding of DevOps philosophy and practices.
• Relevant cloud certificates (AWS ,AZURE, Google)
• Good Coding/ scripting abilities.
• Proven experience and a good understanding of the meaning of 24/7 production environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Seasoned technologist with an in-depth hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of cloud solutions on the major cloud vendors (AWS + GCP preferred).
• Knowledge and experience in software development (Java / C# / Go / etc.) and cloud technologies development platforms and tools.
• Working experience migrating applications from on-prem to public cloud.
• Experience working with development teams to build and deploy modern applications in public cloud, along with DevOps methodologies and processes.
• Understanding and experience with various deployment models including current technologies such as containers, based on Kubernetes and other platforms.
• Understanding of general computer science principles.
• Understanding of networking in general and specifically in the public cloud.
• Understanding of emerging technologies and end-user needs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly yet effectively.
• Understanding of Agile, SCRUM and similar methodologies.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, analysis, problem solving and planning.
• Experienced, persuasive, and effective presenter, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives, and changing priorities.
• Overall experience in the industry should preferably be above 10 years.
• B.A/M.Sc. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, etc- an advantage
