Compliance Specialist

EHS Compliance Specialist (Israel) | 12-Month Contract with Strong Intent to Convert to Permanent | Fully On-Site Across North and Central Region (Flexible On-Site Schedule)

We are partnering with a consultancy we have worked with for many years to support their major global client in recruiting an EHS Compliance Specialist.

This position is fully on-site and will require regular travel between sites. While the role begins as a 12-month contract, the intention is for this role to go permanent.

Role Overview

The EHS Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Israeli EHS regulations and internal standards across multiple technical facilities. The role includes managing regulatory reporting, maintaining compliance calendars, supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 initiatives, and ensuring chemical and waste management programs meet all regulatory requirements.

You will:

• Conduct regular audits and inspections, identify non-conformances, and drive corrective action
• Deliver EHS training sessions, support new employee onboarding, participate in safety committee activities, and assist with incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Including tracking environmental metrics, maintaining detailed EHS documentation, and contributing to ongoing sustainability projects.

Key Requirements

• Valid Israel Ministry of Labor Safety Professional Licence
• 3–5 years of experience in an EHS compliance role
• Strong understanding of Israeli EHS regulations and compliance frameworks
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and managing corrective actions
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
• Ability to use or integrate AI-driven tools to improve documentation and operational efficiency
