Operations Lead

Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring an Operations & Production Lead for a leading financial organization

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations/Production professional to join a dynamic Digital team and take ownership of mission-critical production environments.

This role includes end-to-end responsibility for operational stability, monitoring, troubleshooting, coordination with multiple teams, and driving continuous improvement of system availability, performance and resilience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating, monitoring (including building new monitors) and maintaining production systems

• Troubleshooting critical services, including systems running on IIS and applications integrated with SQL/Oracle databases

• Working with cloud-based services and supporting version deployments

• Leading initiatives to improve stability, performance and system reliability

• Analyzing repeated issues, defining systemic solutions, and ensuring their implementation

• Coordinating operational processes across multiple interfaces within the organization

• Responding in real time to production events and supporting high-availability environments

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Operations, Production, Infrastructure or IT roles

• Hands-on experience with IIS – mandatory

• Experience operating application systems integrated with SQL/Oracle databases – mandatory

• Experience working with Windows and Linux environments

• Proven scripting ability using PowerShell, Bash or Python – mandatory
