Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a Cyber Analyst for a leading organization

Role Overview

Ownership of detection, analysis, and response to complex cyber incidents, including development and optimization of monitoring tools, SOC processes, and automated security controls.

The role includes managing Tier-1 escalations, conducting in-depth investigations, building new detection logic, guiding junior analysts, and leading the organization’s DLP domain through anomaly analysis, lessons learned, and implementation of improved security controls.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cyber incident detection and response

• Strong familiarity with SOC workflows and investigation methodologies

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems

• Experience with security tools: FW, EDR, AV, Mail Relay, Sandbox, Cymulate, Proxy, VA scanners

• Experience working with SIEM (QRadar) and XSOAR

• Ability to write scripts in PowerShell or Python

• Strong command of Windows environments and Excel (advanced functions)

• Proven experience defining and implementing security controls
