About the position

Our engineering team is made up of strong all-around players. Our engineers work on all aspects of the system - from the orchestration of our Kubernetes clusters to inventing new algorithms that detect advanced attacks on APIs, to make our product’s deployments more seamless to customers.

Salt’s engineers are experienced, highly motivated, independent, fast learners, great problem solvers, and super to work with.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (2+ years in Scala/Java/GO/Node)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or relevant military background
• Experienced in design, development, and debugging of complex, distributed systems (cloud-native, microservices, event-driven)

Preferred (but not mandatory) experience:

• Proficiency using GenAI tools to write, refactor, and test code, with the ability to validate and correct model output.
• Docker / Kubernetes
