We're expanding our SRE capabilities and looking for an experienced SRE Team Lead to help build and guide our growing team. In this role, you will lead a team of SREs within the R&D organization and collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Research, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure stable, scalable, and high-performing Prod and Dev environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SRE engineers, including technical guidance, career development, and day-to-day support.
• Define and drive the SRE roadmap, including reliability goals, automation strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the highest escalation point for complex incidents across dev and prod environments – ensuring fast resolution and thorough post-mortems.
• Oversee system performance and availability, proactively identifying bottlenecks and leading improvements.
• Own operational excellence for large-scale distributed environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and observability.
• Guide system design decisions, platform architecture, and capacity planning in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Promote and enforce best practices for automation, monitoring, and production readiness.
• Lead the development of tools and automation processes for infrastructure and application deployment.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience leading or managing an SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure team (formal or informal leadership).
• Strong hands-on experience with production systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience developing in Python.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise with Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Linux.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Background in network and system administration.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and incident-analysis skills.
• Strong leadership qualities: ownership, proactivity, ability to prioritize, team player, and a big-picture mindset.
