Operations Manager – Travel Experience Required

What You'll Do

• Oversee and manage all travel operations, ensuring smooth execution of reservations, supplier communication, and booking accuracy.
• Own key relationships with suppliers, including issue escalation, account optimization, and monitoring performance, rates, and margins.
• Handle operational and administrative tasks from A to Z: supplier coordination, commercial follow-ups, overrides, financial statement review, and resolving daily operational challenges.
• Manage and support the customer service team, ensuring efficient workflows and a high service standard.
• Lead internal operations: process improvements, workflow automation, and implementation of AI-based tools to improve customer support and operational efficiency.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members as the company grows.
• Act as the central point of contact across operations, suppliers, and internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong operational and commercial experience in travel or hospitality.
• A hands-on problem solver with great judgment and the ability to “own the day”.
• Comfortable working directly with suppliers and account managers on operational and commercial topics.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Tech-savvy, familiar with CRMs, reservation systems, spreadsheets, and process automation.
• Organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Prior team-lead or operations-lead experience is a plus.
