Temporary/Seasonal – Group Air Agent (Native Sabre expert)

Be part of The Collective at BCD M&E!

We are looking for confident, experienced native Sabre booking/ticketing agents to support our full-time Group Air team through peak times.

Join a small bench of temporary/seasonal staff that are leveraged on an as-needed basis. You would be offered opportunities that range from working 40 hour (8am – 5 pm CDT), Monday – Friday weeks for short stints to working half or full days (during standard business hours or after hours).

Your responsibilities

• Book and ticket flight itineraries based on information provided on Excel spreadsheets
• Answer attendee air travel customer service calls
• Answer attendee air travel emails via Outlook
• Process exchanges and split forms of payment using scripts
• Process airline schedule changes
• Flight monitoring on travel days
• Work with airlines to troubleshoot ticketing challenges
• Air-related data entry projects in Cvent or other registration databases
• Crosschecking of Excel travel reports to ensure data integrity
  
  

You’re good at

• Booking, ticketing, processing exchanges and split form of payment in Native Sabre GDS system (Must be Sabre)
• Booking off Excel reports – Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Providing exceptional customer service via phone and email focused on professionalism, accuracy and solutions
• Processing schedule changes
• Flight monitoring (outside business hours occasionally)
• Working in a collaborative team environment to meet deadlines

• Hotel, meeting registration, meeting planning or on-site logistics experience

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Temporary Group Air Agent is $26 per hour. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
