Real-Time Software Engineer

A profitable and successful startup developing a life-saving emergency response system.

The company offers an existing SaaS product in the Private Safety space, with contracts with well-known enterprise clients.

The role involves developing RTC components, building and maintaining communication servers, and working in diverse environments including VoIP servers, mobile platforms, streaming servers, and more.

The company has 220 employees globally, with 60 based in Israel.

Offices are located in Tel Aviv, Alon Towers, near the train line, with a hybrid model of two work-from-home days per week.

Requirements-

• 4 years of backend development experience, with a focus on real-time communication (Audio, Video, WebRTC, Streaming).
• Proven experience designing and deploying communication servers in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with WebRTC, including internals and APIs.
• Strong background in media frameworks and engines such as GStreamer and FFmpeg.
• Familiarity with video and audio codecs (e.g., VP8/9, H.264/5, Opus, AAC).
