We are seeking a proactive and skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team of experts and help shape our clients' success.

The Role: Cloud Solutions Architect (Client-Facing & Presales)

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be a vital contributor to our client engagements, working alongside Senior Architects to design and implement robust, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge cloud technologies. A key part of this role involves leading the technical presales process and proving the viability of innovative solutions through hands-on PoCs. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role where continuous learning and collaboration are key.

Key Responsibilities

●     Presales Technical Leadership: Lead the technical aspect of presale meetings and discussions with prospective clients. Conduct technical discovery sessions to deeply understand business needs, current architecture, and constraints.

●     PoC Ownership & Innovation: Own and execute technical Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for new or complex client solutions, demonstrating technical feasibility and value on the AWS platform.

●     Design & Implementation: Participate in the design and hands-on implementation of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless) on AWS, ensuring solutions meet high standards for performance, resilience, and security.

●     Customer Engagement: Work closely with customer development and operations teams to understand technical needs, translate them into clear cloud blueprints, and serve as a technical resource during project execution.

●     Automation & IaC: Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS environments.

●     Optimization Support: Assist in implementing FinOps strategies and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within client environments.

●     Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, design specifications, and procedural runbooks for implemented solutions, including proposals generated during the presales phase.

●     CI/CD & DevOps: Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices, helping clients achieve faster, more reliable deployments using relevant AWS services.

Prerequisites (What We're Looking For)

●     Experience: 2+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role such as a Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.

●     Consultative Skills: Prior experience or proven ability to interact directly with clients/stakeholders, gather requirements, and present technical solutions effectively.

●     PoC Experience: Experience leading or significantly contributing to technical Proof-of-Concepts or pilot projects.

●     Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of core cloud computing concepts, AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda), and networking fundamentals.

●     Practical experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes.

●     Containerization: Foundational understanding and practical experience with Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes/Amazon EKS.

●     Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew & English, with the ability to clearly articulate technical ideas to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

●     AWS Depth: At least 2 years of proven, hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS.

●     Possession of current AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional).

●     Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Amazon EKS or ECS.

●     Experience generating technical proposals, statements of work (SOWs), or consulting roadmaps.

●     Familiarity with database technologies, including NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) and relational databases on AWS.

●     Basic understanding of security best practices, including IAM roles and policies.
