Machine Learning Engineer

A growing Israeli startup in the Deep-Tech / Computer Vision space, recently acquired by a large global company and backed by a strong financial foundation.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train line, with a hybrid model of two work-from-home days per week.

Role overview

• The role includes providing remote technical leadership for a distributed team of six engineers, most of whom are located abroad.
• This is a hands-on technical position focused on deploying and implementing machine-learning models rather than research.
• Work includes development in Python, using DevOps tools, operating in an AWS environment, and implementing ML-based solutions.

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience in software development with Python.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, ECS, EKS, EC2, etc.).
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Docker for deploying machine-learning models.
• Hands-on experience working with Machine Learning.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines for ML models (GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience with ML model monitoring (e.g., Seldon, Grafana).
• Knowledge of data-engineering tools such as Airflow, Spark, or similar.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across teams and promote best practices in ML operations.
