We’re looking for an Illustrator who tells stories through lines, shapes, and color.

Join our Creative Design team and help shape Lemonade’s visual identity with expressive, characterful illustrations that connect across product, brand, and motion. In this role, you’ll bring ideas to life through thoughtful sketches, crafted compositions, and emotionally engaging visuals, working closely with designers, animators, and copywriters.

What you’ll do

• Own projects start to finish, from early concept sketches to final illustrations and delivery.
• Craft illustrations that elevate our product, marketing, and campaign storytelling.
• Develop cohesive visual narratives and iconography that reinforce our brand identity.
• Collaborate with our product design team and dev teams to craft delightful illustrations and animations that enhance our product's user experience.
• Develop dynamic and interactive visual content for web and mobile platforms using your animation and motion design skills.
• Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions for campaigns, product enhancements, and marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with design peers and cross-functional teams to build consistency around concepts, and execute them flawlessly.
• Explore and experiment with new creative tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to expand creative range.
• Clearly articulate and present your concepts to both teammates and stakeholders.
  
  

• A Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, Animation, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional illustration and drawing skills, with a strong understanding of composition, color, and character.
• A portfolio that showcases range, creativity, and storytelling through illustration.
• Proficiency in animation and motion design software such as Adobe After Effects, Rive, Blender/Spline, and vector illustration tools like Adobe Illustrator and Figma.
• A sharp eye for design, typography, and layout, with the ability to integrate illustration seamlessly into larger creative systems.
• Experience working in digital environments, understanding how illustration supports UX and brand.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A solid understanding of UX/UI principles, contemporary digital landscapes, internet culture, and current design trends.
• Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI - a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Comfortable presenting creative ideas and directions, with strong written and oral skills in English.
• Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
