Our enterprise client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Workday Advanced Compensation with minimal supervision. This role ensures successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. You will drive project execution, create strategic and tactical plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and delegate tasks effectively. Collaboration with stakeholders and management of cross-functional dependencies are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Own all aspects of the Workday Advanced Compensation implementation to deliver approved business functionality.
- Planning & Execution: Define and execute project scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and budget.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with stakeholders and related projects to develop detailed schedules and ensure alignment.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee change requests, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and status reporting throughout the project.
- Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, including purchases, contracts, monthly spend, and resource forecasting.
- Vendor Management: Facilitate purchase requisitions and onboarding of third-party resources.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Address low-risk issues or scope changes; escalate significant risks to senior leadership.
- Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders as needed.
- Methodology Application: Apply or adapt project management techniques and methodologies to solve challenges effectively.
- Experience: 7-10 years of project management experience.
- Workday Expertise: Deep knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation, with emphasis on global implementation.
- Global Scope: Ability to implement advanced compensation for annual merit and bonus processes across ~15 countries.
- Localization: Develop compensation statements in approximately five local languages.
- Cross-Cultural Coordination: Ensure compliance and consistency across multiple regions and languages.
