System Team Lead

A young, dynamic, and multidisciplinary startup developing a pioneering photonic quantum computer. The company brings together expertise in quantum physics, optics, mechanical and hardware engineering, and software.

The technology is expected to have a transformative impact in areas such as healthcare, security, climate, and finance, while making practical quantum computing more accessible.

The team consists of around 60 employees and has successfully completed early-stage funding.

The role includes leading a team of 3 systems engineers responsible for defining and developing the system specifications of the company’s photonic quantum computer, reporting directly to the VP of R&D.

Offices are located in the Shfela region, easily accessible by train and public transport, with a hybrid model of one work-from-home day per week (Monday).

Requirements -

• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, integration, or systems engineering of complex technological products (e.g., photonics, precision instrumentation, opto-mechanical systems, quantum devices, or semiconductors).
• M.Sc or Ph.D in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience integrating opto-electronic systems, control software, and laboratory instrumentation
